Continuum Blue was established in 2004 by Dr Mark Yeoman, who completed his PhD in the design and optimization of self-healing vascular grafts using numerical techniques for Medtronic Inc. at the prestigious Chris Barnard’s Cardiovascular Research Unit. As a result of his research, Medtronic obtained several patents. Over the last two decades, Dr Yeoman has gained extensive experience in numerous industries, including orthopaedics, aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, oil and gas, optics, acoustics, telecommunications. His expertise in solving complex problems using mathematical models has allowed him to provide exceptional simulation services to high-profile clients such as BAE Systems, B Braun, Daimler AG, GE, Jaguar Land Rover, Medtronic, and Procter & Gamble.

As a COMSOL™ Certified Consultant with over 20 years of experience in advanced finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and multi-body dynamics, we specialize in a range of multiphysics modelling tasks, from basic to complex coupled interactions. Our services cover acoustics, electrochemical, electromagnetic, electrostatic, fluid mechanics, optics, radiofrequency (RF), structural, and thermal interactions. We possess expertise in advanced user subroutines, material constitutive models, adaptive meshing, and topology optimization, and employ inhouse codes, and commercial software such as COMSOL™, Mathematica®, and MATLAB™ to deliver these services.
